Around 20 injured as train derails in northwest France: transport minister
About 20 people were injured when a regional train derailed in northwest France on Friday, Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot said on X, stressing that it was "provisional count".
The train, which was carrying 180 passengers, was running between the Normandy cities of Rouen and Caen. The local prefect was on the scene to coordinate rescue operations, the minister said.
