China's Xi urges BRICS countries to oppose sovereignty 'violations': state media
Chinese President Xi Jinping said at a BRICS summit on Saturday that member states should oppose sovereignty violations and work to safeguard peace, state media reported.
Xi told the leaders' summit in India that BRICS should "oppose violations of other countries' sovereignty and interference in their internal affairs, (and) constructively participate in resolving hotspot issues," according to Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
