Une explosion survenue vendredi dans une installation militaire à Viacha, dans le département de La Paz, en Bolivie, a fait au moins 58 blessés, dont 52 civils et six militaires, a annoncé le ministre de la Défense Ernesto Justiniano.
L'explosion s'est produite dans un secteur où était entreposé du matériel pyrotechnique, a précisé M. Justiniano sur les réseaux sociaux. "Il existe des informations préliminaires faisant état de possibles victimes mortelles, mais je veux être responsable: nous ne donnerons aucun bilan de morts tant que ces informations n'auront pas été pleinement confirmées", a-t-il ajouté. Les causes de l'explosion font l'objet d'une enquête.
