قال التحالف الذي تقوده السعودية لدعم الحكومة في اليمن، إن المتمردين الجوثيين المدعومين من إيران شنوا هجمات جديدة على جنوب المملكة الأربعاء.
وقال المتحدث باسم التحالف تركي المالكي في بيان إن الحوثيين أطلقوا "عددا من الصواريخ البالستية والطائرات المسيرة" باتجاه مدن خميس مشيط وأبها وجازان، مؤكدا أن قوات التحالف ستتعامل مع الهجمات "لحماية سيادة المملكة ومقدراتها الوطنية وحماية المدنيين والأعيان المدنية".
ولم يُفد البيان عن وقوع إصابات.
