أعلنت إيران الجمعة أنها ستجري محادثات مع دول الخليج في سلطنة عُمان الاثنين في شأن مضيق هرمز الاستراتيجي، والذي أغلقته طهران ردا على الحرب التي شنتها الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية في بيان إن "هذا الاجتماع يهدف إلى تعزيز التفاهم بين دول المنطقة والمساهمة في تعزيز الأمن الإقليمي المشترك"، لافتة الى أن "العراق ودولا خليجية أخرى" ستشارك فيه.
