دان الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية نبيل فهمي الأربعاء محاولة استهداف مكة المكرمة بعدما اتهمت الرياض المتمردين الحوثيين المدعومين من ايران بمحاولة استهداف المدينة بطائرة مسيرة، وهو ما نفاه متحدث باسمهم.
وأكد فهمي في بيان أن "المساس بأمن مكة المكرمة وحرمة المقدسات الإسلامية يمثل أمرا بالغ الخطورة"، مشيرا إلى أن استهداف السعودية "يفاقم التوتر الإقليمي ويهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة".
