يشهد معرض أبوظبي الدولي للكتاب في دورته الخامسة والثلاثين، عرض نسخة نادرة من "مصحف برايس" المصغّر طُبعت في اسكتلندا قبل نحو 130 عاما، على ما أوردت وكالة أنباء الإمارات (وام) الاربعاء.
وتقدّم دار "بيتر هارينغتون" المتخصصة في الكتب النادرة هذه النسخة التي لا تتجاوز أبعادها 26 × 19 ملليمترا، وتُعدّ أول نسخة مصغّرة من القرآن تطبع في أوروبا.
وقالت سارة تريفيسون المتخصصة في شؤون الشرق الأوسط في دار "بيتر هارينغتون" في تصريحات أوردتها "وام"، إن المصحف طُبع بتقنية الطباعة الحجرية الضوئية اعتمادا على نص مخطوط صُوّر وصُغِّر إلى هذا الحجم، مشيرةً إلى أنه محفوظ داخل حافظة معدنية أصلية مزوّدة بعدسة مكبّرة تساعد على قراءة النص.
