ستمنح الولايات المتحدة تأشيرات لوفد إيراني لحضور اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك الأسبوع المقبل، وفق ما أفاد متحدث باسم الخارجية الأميركية الخميس، رغم تواصل الحرب التي دخلت شهرها السابع.
وقال المتحدث "تماشيا مع التزاماتنا بصفتنا الدولة المضيفة، سيتمكن الوفد الرئيسي للنظام الإيراني من حضور... الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة". وأكد مصدر مطلع لوكالة فرانس برس أن الوفد يشمل الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان.
