O presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, anunciou nesta sexta-feira (18), na rede Truth Social, que fechou com a Dinamarca um acordo que concede aos Estados Unidos o "controle permanente" da segurança na Groenlândia e proíbe adversários estrangeiros de estabelecer bases no local.
"A partir de agora, nenhum adversário dos Estados Unidos poderá ter uma base na Groenlândia, presença militar na Groenlândia ou realizar investimentos sensíveis na Groenlândia sem a nossa aprovação expressa por escrito", afirmou Trump.
